Starbucks app - Contribution

There are different products that we interact within different interactive distance, intimate, private, social and public.

We started the assignment with a question: What happens when one product is used across multiple distances?

After analyzing Starbucks' existing brand touch points, we found it lack of communication in the relationships of Starbucks' products customer purchase and Starbucks' Shared Planet progress.

How dose a dollar spend in Starbucks affect the Shared Planet status?

How can customer help to make the planet a better place?

Contribution is an add-on section in the existing Starbucks app. It contains information of Starbucks' Shared Planet and personal contribution data. My Contribution updates customer with numbers once he/she purchase any Starbucks' product.

It's a touch point of visualizing personal effort can better the society.

 

After purchasing anything using the Starbucks app, Contribution tag will give user a new notification:
